In April 2025, the "Zhejiang-Germany Joint Laboratory for Oxidative Damage Medicine" was officially established. This collaboration is a joint effort between the Affiliated Hospital of Jiaxing University (Jiaxing First Hospital), the Dresden University of Technology, and the Carl Gustav Carus University Hospital in Germany.

Dr. Bruno Fink and Dr. Richard Fink, founders of Noxygen Science Transfer & Diagnostics GmbH in Germany and core members of this collaboration, attended the event. They were accompanied by Professor Hao Zhang, a distinguished professor at the Jiaxing First Hospital Cardiovascular Disease Management Center, who also served as an interpreter.

Mr. Ming Yao, Party Secretary of Jiaxing First Hospital, extended a warm welcome and heartfelt thanks to the German experts. He provided a brief overview of the hospital and stated that this collaboration builds a bridge connecting international cutting-edge research with advanced concepts. The goal is to establish a high-level research platform, promote the deep integration of basic research and clinical applications, and strive for higher-level research outcomes, thus laying a solid foundation for the hospital's development as a research institution.

Dr. Bruno Fink shared the latest achievements and extensive experience in the field of oxygen free radical research. He expressed confidence and anticipation for future cooperation with Jiaxing First Hospital. He noted that his research team has significant expertise in this field and is eager to work closely with the hospital's various specialist teams to tackle medical challenges and contribute to global health.

In the afternoon, Dr. Bruno Fink gave a fascinating lecture to all mid-level hospital managers on "Medical Advances Related to Oxygen Free Radical Research and the Application of the VitaScreen CMA SCREENING System."

Mr. Huilin Hu, President of Jiaxing First Hospital, stated that the establishment of the joint laboratory is a milestone in the hospital's history. He believes that building this international research platform and leveraging the expertise of top foreign experts will provide a powerful impetus for joint research projects and help achieve new breakthroughs in high-level scientific research.
